They play creamy disco love bombs and host parties at places like Vinyl, Geisha & The Magnet Liverpool.

You can catch them at the next CMYK party night – Liverpool University Guild on Friday 23rd May.

Apology’s Justice, but this clip doesn’t show what a superb piece of design there latest video is, a cross between the cinematic intro’s and outro’s on all your favourite films and shows.

It’s not there first classic video either check out the T-shirt homage: Justice – D.A.N.C.E  and a nifty remix by those crazy Canadian’s MstrKrft who need a few vowels from Carol Vorderman.

And finally one from the bottom and two from the top the classic, one for lad’s and certain ladies: Simian Mobile Disco – Hustler.

Estaw – Break It Down

Estaw has been popping up with some quality remixes and cuts recently, most of which can be found at his home from home blog, the infamous Palms Out Sounds.

He hits the UK record shops with what is possibly his first full 12″ release
this week with the pretty dope Break It Down.

The release comes with a strong array of remixes from the likes of Herve, Detboi and Chew Fu his palms out bro.

But despite the heavy weights its the original that does it for me and is getting the serious CMYK love.

This is fresh rap rave … an adventure into the dope side of house.

Not only is the big CMYK party at the University Guild on 23rd
but the lucky people of Liverpool also have Sound Week starting Tuesday 27th May.

No doubt we’ll  do a fuller blog post here later the time but what i can tell you is Santogold is hitting town that week, hosting Alma de Cuba on Wedneday 28th.

The New York based performer who is hotly tipped this year to break through is
about to release her album mid May and her single  LES Artistes is already making waves.

Pase Rock is in your town

The mighty pase rock former five deez front man hits Liverpool next month

See the super fresh rap raver on 9th May 2k8 at the always messy evol night in Korova.

Five Deez was always on the edgier side of the indie rap scene.
Creating some prime crossover tracks around the early naughties and was a frequent collaborator with the “Crack Mole’s” downtempo favourites Nujabes

Since then he has been branching into the bmore and rap rave scene
with devastating effect.

Last years Lindsey Lohan track slayed many a dancefloor and we can never
forget ”So Fucking Disco”.

Bird Peterson is a ginger guy from Austin, Texas. Not really a good combination is it Gingerness + burning sun.

He’s also a quality house music producer with a bit of reputation for giving rap tracks a bmore reshake.

So i guess BP + The Who may sound like another no win match.. wrong wrong wrong…

Skins Tour in Liverpool

This is it. The summit of hipsterism. The peak of happenningness. The skins tour comes to the Nation Liverpool Friday 25th April.

With the caravan of cool comes a line up so immense they will be sold out of white raybans in top shop for weeks … we get to hear  Crystal Castles ,Ladyhawke and more.

Plus some slim young thing with tight jeans and a lot of hair gel is gonna be picked
for the program itself… fine fine fine.

I had heard the teenagers were playing this gig and I got all sweaty in the dark places but turns
out the rumours are wrong if you check their myspace listings

Rickrolling: Rick Astley never gonna give you up

Don’t know if your aware of this phenomonoonmonmem but the latest craze for the kids is rickrolling, basically get your stereo and go and disturb the peace by singing St.Helen’s best ever pop prince’s hit Rick Astley – “never gonna give you up” …..very random but hey the we love it!

I think I may start it as a chant in the Kop at the Liverpool v Arsenal champions league quarter final next Tuesday!

Holy Fuck – are we ready!

The album ”LP” dropped last year on the Young Turks  label. Since then Holy Fuck (sorry mum!) have been remixing, touring and generally getting about.

They are on their way to Liverpool Korova this weekend to play the ever joyous evol night, Friday 5th April 2008, and the CMYK gang are hoping to stick our heads round the door to check these young rogues out.

According to missing toof the first track from the album is Gonzos Cointreau and its a
” track that is discovered to be a journey through frequencies”
