I thought the little Philly maestros were having a fkin larf!!

I’d already had the pleasure of hearing JAPATTACK’s remix of Pase Rock the week previous. Turns out now they are doing the honors for fag rap artist Sgt Sass…

I hadn’t heard of fag rap before but apparently it exists and its trying

to reclaim “faggot” in the same way female rappers like Missy Elliott and Lil’ Kim reclaimed “bitch” in the late ’90s

If you’re lucky and live in one of the European towns mentioned in this link here (Manchester tonight anyone?) then you will be able to catch our favourite hip hop turned electro house producer DJ A-Trak doing his turntable thing this spring…

The boy from canada (seen above holding mates piss) has come a long way since becoming the youngest ever winnner of the DMC DJ Championships.
(I still  giggle at the footage of him DJing from around those days at an event called the Summit…. his mum proudly tapping here  foot as he jammed with Noise and Roc Raider…)

Anyway A-Track is now a top party rocker and plots world domination with his record label Fools Gold.

The Who – Baba O’Riley (Bird Peterson Remix)

Bird Peterson is a ginger guy from Austin, Texas. Not really a good combination is it Gingerness + burning sun.

He’s also a quality house music producer with a bit of reputation for giving rap tracks a bmore reshake.

So i guess BP + The Who may sound like another no win match.. wrong wrong wrong…
