When you get a remix from someone called Joey2Tits then you got to give it a listen.

 

Thankfully this remix is worth posting cause now I can share the wonderful catchy snappy world of Joey2Tits with the PARTYCMYK bounce brigade.

We haven’t posted much on the Yeah Yeah Yeahs mainly cause they were getting enough hype elsewhere and also cause I hadn’t had time to check the album…

Now we have and its definitely worth the effort, full of smokey synth hooks and pristine vocal performances.

Anyway Joey2Tits took the emotive ballad Runaway and chopped it up, proper bump floor material style. Joey my man if you’re out there send us more.

To be honest I’m not feelin a lot of her plinky plonk pop but the remix brotherhood is seriously on the case with every thing she churns out. Its been a beautifully sunny Easter weekend over here in Liverpool.

Funnily enough i just came across this New Order track from way back in 1986. I remember this being number 1 for ages and the video was everywhere.

So obviously the theme this week is deeply satisfying disco edits.

I picked these up over at Italo Deviance blog which is always worth a visit.

From what I can make out Rayko is part of the RARE Wiri team from the Canrary Islands… not the first place you look for edits of this quality, but who are we to argue.

Back in October last year we posted Eli’s Mixtape for “we make it good” series. In that post we mentioned how much we lusted over the man’s remix of this Stevie Nicks track, we even emailed Eli and asked for a blog safe version but he wasn’t having any of that.
So finally the track is featuring on the new money lotion 12″ along with appearances from Roctakon’s Madonna reworks and this Stevie Nicks remix is available for all the freeloading blog readers of the world.

Justin Strauss and Bryan Mette are the duo who make up WhateverWhatever and are behind these acid drenched cosmic outings. Both Justin and Bryan began collaborating in 2005 when they put together a remix of Goldfrapps “Ooh La La”. Since then they have worked together on a number of remix projects as well as killin some spots n the NYC area (Mudd Club, Love and APT holler!)
